The Washington Fair Trade Coalition is open to any organizations that meet a few simple criteria. The organization must:

• be based in Washington state, engaged in activities in Washington state, or have members in Washington state
   
• be willing to endorse the Coalition's mission and Statement of Principles of Fair Trade
   
• be willing to be listed as a member on public documents of the Coalition.

Unfortunately, WFTC cannot accept individual memberships. If you are an individual that cares about globalization issues and wants to help support fair trade policy, we encourage you to do one of the following:

• Consider joining one of the many organizations that are already signed up as members of our coalition. By joining one of these groups, you can add your voice and energy to the work that we all do together.
   
• A group that may be of particular interest is the Community Alliance for Global Justice (CAGJ). CAGJ is a volunteer-driven membership group based in Western Washington that specifically focuses on activism on globalization issues.
   
• Consider contributing to WFTC. Even though we cannot accept individual memberships, we would certainly appreciate your support.
   
• ... and of course make sure to contact your representatives about fair trade issues and seek out and support fair trade products!
